International Graduate Program for Japanese Studies (GPJS), as well as the Graduate School of Arts and Letters (GSAL), Tohoku University, is pleased to welcome researchers from Jagiellonian University at Kraków, Poland, which is one of the principal members of Hasekura League, an international and interdisciplinary network for Japanese Studies. Three presentations will provide an overview of Jagiellonian University and the characteristics of Japanese studies conducted there. It will be a great opportunity to discuss future directions of our exchanges in the humanities and social sciences.
